I love the chicks, especially since they can be squeezed and loved by little hands! My sweet little granddaughters are on their way here for a spring break visit -- I've put all the heavy eggs up high so they won't drop them on their toes.
Those are the cutest chicks! I love the theme the egg cups and cake plate is adorable. What a great little vignette they make all by themselves for spring!

Love the marching chicks! Luckily they are inside and the forecast snow won't bother them. I guess I shouldn't tell you we had 82 degrees today. ;-) It was so beautiful We've had some not-so-great weather lately. Okay, okay, I know, 65 or so is not bad, even when it rains along with the cooler temps. It's all relative. In any case, spring is on its way, here, there and everywhere!

Cameron had a ballgame Saturday and I was sitting there in my coat, wrapped up in a blanket with my heater on and the wind just blowing like the dickens and Cameron is standing out there on the field wearing a baseball uniform! Good Morning Jane Sweetie... What a wonderful Spring exchange you had. I adore all the chickie things. You can now decorate for Easter in a chickie theme. I love the cake plate. With a cloche over that, won't it look grand? You could then put your chickies in there. Love it.

[Image]Look what came prancing into my house a few weeks ago, bringing with them a breath of fresh air. A chorus line of chicks, each one cuter than the last. Today we are calling for snow but I don't care. I have a bit of spring right here! [Image] I joined my first swap hosted by Lori and really enjoyed myself. I was partnered with Stephie from Made by Stephie and just had a ball. We emailed each other and found out what each other liked and of course, we kept it 'springy'! [Image]When I visited Stephie's blog I found that she was one of those bloggers that loves to re purpose old furniture and thrift finds, things we all love to do. And she had some great posts on how she changed an ornate mirror into a jewelry tray and how she took and old dresser and fixed it up as her own. Lots of great tips and directions. I urge you to pay a visit to her blog. This girl has talent! [Image]Aren't these chicks darling? [Image]Stephie kept the theme going with a cute cake stand, egg cups and a chick oven mitt. Oh, spring is in the air! [Image]And she made a precious brooch or hair accessory from fabric that she brought back with her from Paris. Given that I live in pony tails, this will get a lot of use! [Image]I had just as much fun shopping for Stephie and kept the spring theme as well and tried to remember that she loved vintage. You can go to her blog to see what she received from Blondie.
I told Lori she has to have a Summer Fling. This was too much fun. Pay Lori a visit, she has a great blog and hosts Get Your Craft On Thursday, which is neat.
