Just a few touches and WAHLA! A new bathroom! I love everything, from the shower curtain and rug to the lovely touch of the matching towel and special soaps!
Hi Jane, love your new bathroom look (oops, someone left the lid up, tee hee hee!)... I too love Rachel Ashwell's things at Target, infact, I just bought a new comforter set there by her... hard to beat those prices too!... your shower curtain is so pretty!... and how exciting to be planning your daughters wedding... much love to you, xoxo Julie Marie
Hi jane, I'm so excited for you and your daughter! Looking for dresses is so fun, don't let it overwhelm you. You will have such a great time shopping. So many possibilities! Have fun!

I love all the new touches to your guest bath. That curtain just brightens the room and I love that they had a towel to match. The rug is perfect in there too. I almost hate to go to Target because I never get out of there for under $100. I was just there Thursday and went way overboard.
The most exciting thing of all has to be looking for your daughter's wedding dress. Try not to cry to much.
I love a five minute bathroom makeover. I just did one yesterday too. It's a great way to give the room and one's self a little lift. Hope you have a lovely weekend. Carolyn
Jane, Your really spiffed up your bath. That's a great shower curtain and lattice rug and it really gives a nice change to your bath...and now you have me wanting to go to Target to get something new for my guest bath. Thanks Jane..:) Hugs, Babs
I LOVE the new look! The lattice rug design also makes the room look bigger. It's WONDERFUL to have a room with neutral background so you can totally change the look when you want. "LOVE IT"!!! Target really has lots of fun styles!!! Have a wonderful weekend, Hugs, Donna

I like your changes in the bath. I just love to change things. I need a Target visit, but it's 35 miles to the nearest one, so I will wait until I need to be in that town for other things.
Love playing with the bathroom accessories. I really need to paint and I am going back and forth between what color to do it. Maybe in the fall! The new curtain and rug look great. I love Target ~ they are coming but not fast enough for my liking!
What a beautiful bathroom facelift! That's really good to know about Target, would you believe I've only been in Target 2 or 3 times! We renovated our bathroom a few years ago, and I still have just the plastic shower liner, only blinds on the windows . . .
Have a blast shopping for a wedding gown, and bring lots of tissues!
Looks great, Jane...I love changing the shower curtain, rugs, towels in the bathroom...reminds me that I have a new turquoise/brown toile shower curtain I need to get out.
Hi Jane, I do like your new bathroom. I like the shower curtain and rug. Your daughter's wedding will be here before you know it as fast as the time is flying. It was fun to go shopping looking at all of the beautiful dresses. You will be busy. Have a great weekend. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.
Jane I love the new spruced up bathroom! Rachel Ashwell's fabric are stunning! Have fun with your daughter tomorrow. Remember your camera! This is a very special day! When my daughter found "the dress" I cried so hard and was so frazzled that on the way home I ran a red light!!!!! Be careful out there and soak it all in. They will become the sweetest memories!
The added brightness of color made a huge impact in this small bath. I really like the rug too. We rarely shopped at Target for a long time, but last year I spotted the shabby chic line and began going to purchase some of Rachel's things too. Have a great weekend!
Love the new shower curtain and rug, Jane! Simple things that can make a big difference {and make us happy!}. Yes, I can get into a lot of trouble in the bath and bedding section at Target!
Thanks for stopping by again this morning Jane... I can't wait to hear about and see your daughter's wedding dress!... I hope you both have a blissful time looking at them, and just being mama and daughter together for such a special day... xoxo Julie Marie
It looks so pretty, Jane! I love that lattice rug! Amazing what difference a few tweaks can make! Can't believe the wedding is approaching so quickly! Happy weekend!..hugs...Debbie
It is amazing, isn't it, what a few small changes can do to a room, and to our spirits! I like all the new stuff in your bathroom! I'm about to paint mine and then put on the finishing touches which I'm still thinking about. I think I've gotten the color down.
Love your curtains at the window--we have the same tastes there!
Hi Jane, I was just in Target looking at bathroom stuff too. I fell in love with their shower curtains by her..shabby chic. I'm thinking now I need to go back and get it. Love the changes you made. Now that my daughter is married I'm going to change her bathroom, and bedroom. A little shabby chic perhaps... I'm with Gretchen, I never get out of there for less than a $100! Blessings, Debbie
I bought a chair at Target just about a couple weeks ago, I was there yesterday too! LOL I bought two books though but did get faux plants in an iron carrier on sale! Love your bathroom everything looks gorgeous! My son gets married June 21, 2013!
Sorry I haven't been 'here' more ~ just a lot going on.
I love the changes in your bathroom! I was at Target one day last week and yes, it's dangerous for me to go there. I think they have a lot of bath items now that remind me of those at Anthro. Luscious textures and colors!
You're going to have fun with the wedding planning! I hope your daughter enjoys every moment of it.

Hi Jane, I love you bathroom changes. I've looked and contemplated buying that same rug. Haven't decided yet. It all looks very fresh and lovely! Have fun with your daughter. Those are very special moments. Very special and it goes way too fast.
Bathroom make over turned out great!!!! I am in the middle of a HUGE REMODEL in my Master Bath & WOW you can really drop a bundle of CASH redoing a bathroom. But, wow changes are great! Great Job. Enjoy the rest of the summer & send those cooling breezes our way when you get them. You always get them first! Charlene
So very pretty, both versions! I love Target too. I just bought more red towels for our main floor bath. I am still loving the red and white dotted curtain in there from Target and decided I needed more towels. Even though the bath towel is seldom used, I need enough to round out a red load on laundry day. The red towels bleed for quite a while in the wash although it isn't noticeable, fade wise.
I can't wait to read about the wedding plans! Shall I start sending you coupons for Kleenex?
Wow...the shower curtain change really made a difference in the entire look and I love that rug. I don't get in a Target store often, but I love it when I do. It is like HomeGoods, dangerous!!
Oh gosh Jane, this is such an adorable bath....love it!! Looks like you girls had a great time hunting for a wedding dress ~ what a blast!! We're sure you will come across the perfect dress for yourself ~ you have such great taste!
I love the changes in your bath Jane. Isn't it fun to be able to do so much for so little? It looks beautiful! Your outing outing with the posse looked like a lot of fun. sending hugs...
I love your updated bathroom. Mine is as small as yours. We are in the process of updating ours just a little. I love all the touches you used. Great items you found at Target! I love that store. My bedding is from there.

[Image]It's been a gloomy day and Emily was off from work so we decided to take a little trip to Target. Well, you know how that goes! I always seem to gravitate to the bath section and I wasn't disappointed, they really had some great shower curtains and coordinating towels. It's not hard to stand there and visualize how your bath will look with a few small changes. But little changes can make a big impact in a small room and I love playing around with my bathrooms! So this is the before (above). The colors are two shades of blush pink separated by the chair rail. Sorry for the reality shot of the toilet paper and washcloth!
[Image]The shower curtain was a simple floral by Rachel Ashwell at Target stores. I have so many of her bath and bedroom linens, I just love her. So...below is the after.
[Image]My bathroom is very small, it is just off a hallway from the living room so it is the one used most by guests. We found this cute shower curtain for $19.99 and the rug, $24.99.
[Image]I found a soap dish and toothbrush holder that looks like mercury glass. I had the wire basket that holds magazines and TP.
[Image]I love the lattice pattern on the rug, I think this would be pretty in front of a kitchen sink, too.
[Image]The hand towel matches the curtain and I just set some fancy soaps on it.
Whew! This was fun! A whole new look and minutes to put it together. That's gratifying! Let me know if you like the changes. And check out your Target...they moved the entire home section all around and I could swear there was a bigger inventory in the bath department. Did you know my Target has underground parking? Ahhh...city life!
Tomorrow is an exciting day. We have two appointments at bridal shops to start looking for Emily's wedding gown. You might remember the big day is May 10, 2013. It's fast approaching! I can't wait to see my baby girl in a bridal gown! I know I am going to cry! I'm not sure what else we have on the agenda for the weekend, our first at home in 2 months. But you know me, I'll be telling you all about it next week! Have a great weekend! :)
