Jane, you can never celebrate those milestones too much! How wonderful and how exciting for Emily. I know you are one proud Mama!

I also think I know how you are feeling, too --- as I keep asking myself what I want to BE when I grow up, which for someone my age is a little silly, but... there it is.

I haven't been to Chicago in ages! Looks wonderful.

Congratulations to Emily for attaining her degree in interior design--how exciting! Glad you had beautiful weather for the day.

I'm with you on the farm stand. I've been looking at retirement property in the country. My husband and I hope to buy some land next year to build our dream house in the country and grow our own vegetables and herbs. I am picturing a few chickens running around, too. :)

Hi Jane! Congrats to your beautiful daughter, I hope she has an amazing career ahead of her. I am coming to Chicago next week on business, only 2 days but with a quick trip to Wrigley so I'm excited about it. I was there for a couple days once before, but in the dead of winter with loads of snow everywhere, so I really didn't have much chance to see anything. Someday I hope to have time to go sightseeing and shopping there!
