Hi Happy Wordless Wednesday . What fabulous photos. Thank you for sharing these beautiful featherd friends and for making me smile . Have a great week. Happy trails
Great pictures! That last one cracks me up. Anyone who has birds knows how expensive they can be, is the little guy trying to contribute? Thanks for stopping by, I'm with you I'd be happy to stay in the sandcastle too. Goodness knows it's bigger than our first apartment! Kathy
Hi Jane...What cuties! Birds are such smart little critters! Unfortunately, I can't have one...too tempting for my staff! lol Have a great 4th!...Debbie
I just spent several minutes reading a few of your posts. After using 11 tissues while I read On the Path to an Empty Nest, I want you to know I'm hooked. Don't get met wrong. I loved the little post about the baby poop brown two tiered basket, but you just grabbed me with the Empty Nest. Mainly because I thought it was my life you were nearly describing.....but really, because you put into words the way most of us women/moms/wives feel and you did it in the most amazing way. It was wonderful. You need to submit that to SOME PLACE for publication.
Anyway, thank you again....I'm so glad for Wordless Wed. cuz that's how we connected. Dana in KC
Hi Jane, your pictures are great...such sweet birds. I had parakeets for years....still miss them.
Thanks for your kind words about my tablescape. You are so dear and I truly appreciate you!
Hugs, Barb

LoL. I can help but just laugh. I just did a post on my Pink Saturday about birds and how I wish to have them visit me too and hear them sing. But I don't think I want lots :-) Yes, I should be careful what I wish for cause one commented that she has lots of visits and leave lots of poops too!Certainly I wouldn't want them eating my bills LoL
Hhhhmmmm maybe I would like them in moderation.:-)

My son had a cockateel years ago. I really liked that little bird. He called him Petey. When my son went away to college I took care of Petey. He died while I was taking care of him. I felt so bad about it. Charlotte
Oh what great photos! How many birds do you have? We had a parakeet once, but it was not as calm as your birds look. Thanks for making me smile :) Crystal
To answer your question about the cookie carnaval everyone bakes the same cookie recipe that the person in charge posts at the beginning of each month. This is my first time participating and I will continue if I like the recipe she posts. I sure had fun eating the cookies:) Joyce
Oh how sweet your feather babies are! I use to have a parakeet years ago that would whistle the theme song to Andy Griffin Show! lol Thanks for coming by and I hope you are having a great week!
Hi Janie! Ooooh! Your birds are so cute! How are you? Thanks for stopping by, I missed you. And thanks for your good suggestions on the lilac tablecloth. You know we are babysitting or bird sitting 2 parrots right now for friends who attended a wedding in FL. AJ is here vacationing for 2 weeks and she is really enjoying them.....Christine
Jane: I love your birds, they are gorgeous!! My aunt had parakeets and I could sit and just watch them forever!
Thank you for your kind comment. I sincerely do not know what our parents did without cell phones back in the day!! I can remember calling home on a pay phone, and you don't even see those anymore!
Yeah, my apron strings are fraying in ALL directions and I am just trying to weather it without going just totally crazy! So far...so good!
[Image] Thanks for visiting me and my feathered pets!! To see more participants of Wordless Wednesday, visit our hostess, Dixie at French Lique! Have a wonderful Hump Day!! xoxoJane

You all knew I couldn't stay wordless!!
All baby birds were given away with Daddy after Mom, who was probably exhaused, well...er, left us.
Maybe I should have stayed wordless after all.

I'll bet it would get noisy at your house with those birds. I do hope that is a kiss that the bird is getting.
