I've never seen a spice wall like thst and what a great idea it is. I have to hunt mine in the lazy susan every time. Its so great you have windows and light too.
I cant wait to see the barstools you choose. I need some new ones but I doubt that happens this year.

Your kitchen came out beautifully, the lighter colored counters really make a huge difference! I love the roomy spice cabinet...I have a tiny little cupboard and a rather large lidded box I keep mine in and have to dig through to find whatever spice or herb I need.

Wow..the new counter tops have really lightened up your kitchen. It's so amazing how just changing one thing can make such a huge difference. I long for a new kitchen but it's not going to happen..so I will just come and visit yours! Your description of the island and your new stools was great. Amazing. I love every new detail!! Love that granite. I have a similar shade of wood on my cabinets and that granite looks perfect with it. I also have the same color green in my family room, only I have it running through my kitchen. LOVE LOVE LOVE and can't wait for the rest when you get it all in.

Jane, this looks WONDERFUL! What a difference those counter tops have made!

We repurposed our cabinets too. We painted them a creamy color and used black hardware on them. Cabinet are just waaaaaaaaaaay too expensive!

I just LOVE that spice rack too!
