They are all perfect! That is so cool you and your daughters are the same size foot. I miss wearing my Moms clothes. When I was in HS I loved to raid her closet, she NOT so much.

LOVE this post Jane!! I am totally a boot girl! At 5'2" and a size 6, I find LOTS of great sales on boots -- now looking for a new pair of brown cowboy boots -- gotta have them for winter :)

Thanks for sharing your shopping source -- I'll be looking that over :)

Blessings!

Hi Jane,
Funny that you are posting about boots. I just bought the cutest pair yesterday. Mine are short too because the taller ones are usually too tight on my big calves! LOL!

Love all your choices. You wouldn't think that we need boots here on the coast of NC, but it gets very cold her in Jan and Feb.

I have a few pair but we do not have much in the way of 'Boot Weather' down here! When we spent a December in Scotland I DID wear them. Every day!

Great post and I loved 'chatting' with you!

Thanks for sharing the boot web, I'll be looking into that because I love boots! Here in Pa. I've already started to wear them, love the black ones you showed, my daughter has a larger foot and thin so we don't wear each other's shoes or boots!

I love boots, too, Jane, but I only got a new pair of snow/winter boots this year. I don't have any room for extras so the "old ones" will have to do, but I think I've got it covered from ankle boots on up to wedge heeled! : ) I read that using your empty egg cartons is something else you can stick in your boots.

Cute boots Jane!
So nice that you can share them with your daughters!
I haven't taken any boots out yet but it wont be long!
I did buy a steel grey pair in the summer and I plan on wearing them any time now.
I love a pair of Fryes boots I saw online but the price was "wowsers".
Have a great weekend!

Hi Jane, I thought I might have to get my boots out this morning to go to work, but we didn't get the snow they were predicting, just rain, cold, and really windy. Your post just reminded me of what I am going to have to do. Mine will leak if the snow is to deep.
I think I will borrow my grandson's. He is 12 and wears a bigger size then I do. I am trying to print business cards for my craft show as I type this. Have a great weekend. Your Missouri Friend

I love the gray ones! I actually only own snow boots, can you believe it? I keep thinking of getting a pair of cute boots suitable for work but shoe shopping is tough since I have big feet! I usually buy shoes from Zappos, never heard of the other site, I'll have to check and see if they have big sizes too. I shop online all the time, almost ALL my Christmas shopping is done online - all the selection and no crowds!

Gorgeous boots!
For years I lived in winter wonderland and wore REAL boots, like the business-like ones you showed after all the pretty ones. Now that I live on the coast I wear 'pretend' boots that wouldn't keep anyone warm, but look great@
I was thrilled for you at the news of your daughter's engagement. We'll both be mothers of a bride in 2012! I'll want all the details!

Jane,
I love boots too! My daughter (19) and I wear the same size also, that sounds good right? Well, this is how it works, she borrows my shoes and boots, never brings them back and I have to go hunting (which could be quite dangerous considering most days you don't know where the floor in her room) when I go to get a pair that's not there. Now, when I borrow her shoes or boots, she has a fit! That hardly seems fair and equitable to me!

Cute boots! I am boot happy this year, as well! In the past 6 weeks I've purchased 3 pair. I've lost 22 pounds the past few months and the tall boots now fit comfortably and look great on me ~ yay!!! The first pair of black riding boots I bought are so comfortable that I wore them every day ~ I knew I needed to buy a few more pair in different styles, otherwise they were going to wear out fast! Have a great weekend!

Hi Janie... I love this post!!! We have such harsh winters here in Utah too... our state's slogan is "The Greatest Snow on Earth" so I own lots of boots too... infact, I just bought a new pair at Famous Footwear... I had returned a pair that the heels ended up being too high for me... was just going to get my money back when the clerk said, "well, we want you to be happy so you can have 15% off any other pair of boots"... so you see, I HAD to get another pair, tee hee hee! (I am sure it's a scam on their part but hey, it works for me!)... my favorites you showed are the first pair, love those!... looks like you are set for winter... I will check out the source you listed online, love shopping that way too!... fun post!... xoxo Julie Marie

Keeeeute! I love them all....and I agree with you, you have to be prepared for things, in case you did get that horse and have to go riding, or several other scenarios...of course we all think exactly the same way! Don't we? I get boots or shoes and tell myself about possible scenarios all the time! Hahahaha! Yay..it is the true heart of a girl scout or something like that...being prepared and all!

First off, congrats to your daughter on her engagement. Just saw that on the last post.

Looks like you have some stylish boots. I love boots and shoes, but I have an extremely flat foot that is hard to fit. Not many style shoes will fit me.

How lucky to you that you and your daughter have the same size. My mom's feet are two sizes bigger than mine, so we were never able to share.

Have a wonderful weekend!

I've just started looking for new boots for this winter. Although we do get occasional snow, rain is our issue. I also love the look of boots and love them to dress for church but for my kick around town, running in the rain days, I wear my ugly Keenes. I know, I know, this fashionista has the ugliest boots imaginable but they hold up so well in the rain.
