Janie,
Happy Birthday to hubby. Looks like lots of family and fun for you! I have been working so hard at the Cape house, but it has been fun, too! We need to see some pics of you, my dear, having fun at the lake :)

My dream would be to one day own a lake house! Just think of all the memories you are making for your family and friends! Fun, fun, fun!

You are so right though, having fun is exhausting! We just got back from our vacation Friday and I have had absolutely no energy since we got back. I forced myself to get up and out early today and now I'm pooped! It's also really hot here and the heat sure can take it's toll.

Get some rest and have a great week!

This looks and sounds like a wonderful weekend! Happy Birthday to hubby, that cake looks delicious - and it's so cute! We just got back from Rockport and I'm a wreck - can't find the energy to do anything. I really wish someone would drop a whole wad of cash in my lap, because I have NO desire to go back to work tomorrow. Zip, nada, bupkis :) Kat

You had a fun 4th of July, I can tell, and the song on the blog is new to me. I have visited you here before and decided to follow you today.
The paddle boats are fun aren't they?
I attended college in Wisconsin near the Illinois border and love the lakes and the greenery.

Having company is exhausting. All the preps before, cooking, and then the clean up! But summer goes quickly!

Hi Jane Sweetie...
Oh I so love it when you go to the lake home. It is so beautiful and peaceful there. So much space. Look at all the people you had visiting. What fun it must have been. A perfect holiday for sure.

That cake looks so yummy. Did you make it? Perfect for the occasion.

I can just hear the laughter, the squealing, the water commotion. Oh what a fun time you all had. I thank you for sharing with me.

I am under lockdown until July 19th. The doctor said NO talking. I am writing away as my voice is gone for now. I so want to go out and play.

Have a great weekend sweetie. Do some hollering for me will ya?

Much love, Sherry
