What a fun trip, Janie! I can't wait to see what you bought. Lucky you to experience the world's longest yardsale.

I was thinking of you when I spread the creeping thyme seed in the gazebo. I hope they grow soon....Christine

Janie, what a fun time you had! Love those animals. I'm like you... if there's a cute animal, I'm mesmerized. :-)

I've missed you. I've been on break, but I'm trying to catch up some today before I break again for a long time. Lots going on with houses and then my MIL's milestone birthday.

BTW, I think your hair looks good. If you hadn't told me, I would have thought you'd styled it that way. You're always pretty to me.

Love to you, my friend!

XO,

Sheila :-)

That looks like so much fun. We haven't stayed in a B&B in a long time. I remember that there's a fine line between feeling like you are in someone elses home and feeling like it's a get away. That little candlelit patio makes it all perfect to me! I'm glad y'all had a great time.

Hi Blondie :)
That b&b looks so pretty and the buffet looks great. I had to laugh when you said your hair expands in the humidity, because mine does, too! You can tell what the weather will be just by looking at my hair. :) Hope you enjoying the rest of your time! xoxo

It looks like you had a blast! I've always wanted to go to the longest yardsale but we've never made it. Maybe one day...

Love the billy goat, he looks like he's smiling :)

Hi Jane,
I think you both are so darling. What a cute couple you make. My hair does the same thing in humidity, but luckily that doesn't happen much in dry ole Idaho. It sounds like such a wonderful time. I would love to go to that yardsale some day.
Smiles,
June

Firstly Janie my dear..that first post was just a link to Susan's "Between Naps on the Porch" Anniversary. The previous post was about my red, green and orange house! I knew I screwed it up..leave it to me. You had a wonderful time, and that is so cool. It sounds romantic with the wine under the stars. Yes your hubby is a handsome dude alright. Why do you have a picture of your daughter sitting in that chair? That can't be you..too young. You are pulling a fast one on all of us, right? I would have been afraid of that ferry.Lake Michigan may not be the biggest Great Lake, but it cold like Lake Huron, right? The animals are so sweet. The bed of Liatris flowers are pretty, and I can't wait for your next post to see what you bought at that mansion place!

Love that cozy little yard spot with the rocking chairs. So glad you're in the rest and relaxation mode. Seems I never get to that place very often. But then I rarely travel. Something at home always beckons. So you know how it goes. Can't wait to see what you got! Be safe till home!

Hey how did I miss this post? What a pretty place to share a bottle of wine.
Perhaps when you come to Vancouver we can share one too. The cabin is
3 1/2 hours away. The inside hasn't been done at all. Talk about metamorphosis, wait til that gets done.
There is a bunk house that sleeps 4 or 6 if two snuggle in the double bottom bunk. Well insulated, electrified and cozy.
Seriously though if you are coming to visit we will definitely get together.

Hey Janie! What a small world! I can't believe your son went to Golf School in Temecula! That is too funny. I just made a post on how to make the topiary rag trees. :)

Hope you are having a great week!
