Truly love the tablescape, very spring, very fun and very inviting. What's for dinner?

What a wonderful pop of fresh Spring color those tulips bring to the table! Fabulous!

Your dishes are FABULOUS, too! I love each layer & appreciate you peeling them back for us to see.
I don't fault you for not using a tablecloth. I'd want that wood grain to show all the time, too.

Don't envy you the renovations but I know it will be lovely when completed. Hang in there!

fondly,

I love your flowery china and the tulips really bring out the colours in it. I think when you have a nice wooden table like yours it is better to show it off than hide it under a tablecloth. That French book looks interesting. I love French shabby chic decor.

Good morning Jane! Your table turned out beautiful! I bought tulips myself last week. They're starting to fade. I might need a new bunch soon. I also love your table and chairs. The chairs look really unusual. I don't think I knew what Pottery Barn was 20 years ago. Seriously. BTW, can you send the bunny my way. I need a serious kick in the pants.

Beautiful table, as always! Ahh...flowers!

Can't wait to see your changes. I love decorating and haven't had a sec to continue on with my own.

Amy at http://keepnthesunnyside.blogspot.com/

is taking a trip to Chicago with her two teens and is looking for suggestions on activities. I also told her to stop by to see you.

On the Better than Bouillon, love it. Love homemade food more than eating out...it's really awful here and everything is chi chi resort prices. (Stowe is considered the Aspen/Vail of the east...go figure.)
Finally, I am going through PB withdrawals. Unabashed PB fan and proud of every single table, chair and doodad purchased there. Mostly I miss our weekly trips to walk around PB, Wm Sonoma, Restoration Hardware, boo hoo!
