Hey, girl...I always love seeing what things you've found when you've been out and about...you didn't disappoint me today! Love your creamer and sugar bowl! Wow..you sure got a deal on that baguette baking pan for only $4.99! The only bread I can make is sourdough from a starter. Of course, if I start eating that stuff, the rest is history! :)

Now, I want to confess right off that I did NOT read that last paragraph because I don't need to learn how to make things that are going to make me fatter! I can barely get through the doorway now!

congratulations on Kevin's promotion.

I love your items, Janie! And that baguette pan, so cool! Happy Tuesday! Maybe someday, I can venture outside of banana bread, lol!

Thanks on the kudos for the awards, Cielo was very generous to offer a boatload for us to share with all of you. I hope you took them all, too! :-)

Love your Spring cream and sugar. I have one of those baguette baking pans too. Here's a suggestion that doesn't require any real bread making skills. Use frozen bread dough from the supermarket. Grease the pan, lay one frozen roll of dough on each side and let it raise, then bake. You'll have nice crispy home made bread without any of the trouble or mess!

Have a perfect week...Kathy

You have me giggling right now. Making the bed as a project, I may have to resort to that. Lying here in bed I'm thinking of all kinds of projects I can do. I have got to visit alot of bloggers, went to some sites I've never visited before. Congrats to Kevin, you must be so proud of him. After seeing you and your beautiful daughters, he has to be very handsome. Guuuuuurl, you know I love the cream and sugar. I haven't even had a chance to put my goodies out, that I got from KY. Have a great day, Rose

Interesting.... maybe the humidity in the bathroom made the bread rise better????

That little cream and sugar set is darling!

I love the creamer and sugar bowl. Guess where I let my bread dougn rise. I wash my dishes in the dishwasher. It has a stainless steel interior. It stays warm for hours. I unload it and stick my bread bowl in. Works perfect. It's even warm after I puch my dough down and need to let in rise again. I do love my new Kitchenaid mixer with the bread hook.

About the tomatoes: can you build a cage around them?

Now I have one of those perforated pans, and haven't ever used it! Shame on me --- your bread is fantastic!

Thanks for visiting...and, yes, That Old House IS a she. She's a grand old dame, a little cracked and eccentric. We don't let her look in the mirror, as she might be distressed at what the years have done to her complexion!

She is also quite bossy -- always telling me what to do! (OK, now you think I am totally nuts.)

Take care! Best... Cass

Congrats to Kevin! Our youngest is named Kevin.
Thank you for you sweet comments. I am so sorry you have suffered so much with pneumonia.. I wish I could lose a pound or make a dollar for each cough:) It would seem all the coughing would burn calories:)...instead of causing sore ribs and stomach muscles.
Thank you for your expertise and well wishes. You are a good friend.

I am so all about the kitchen "stuff". I have so many different gadgets but I do use most of them.
Good equipment helps right? It has been a pleasure to see your site. We have a cabin but we didn't get it until our kids were grown so they missed out on the fun. :-(
Thanks for stopping by my pad.
