Hi Janie... have a wonderful time at the lake! Wish I was there!!! We are at 100 degrees here right this minute! I would love to "go jump in your lake" about now! xoxo Julie Marie
Have a great weekend! I watered everything again today, it's becoming a daily ritual to keep everything from dying! We did get a tiny bit of rain tonight from a quick moving storm! I hope you have a relaxing time at the lake!
It has been quite warm and muggy here in Chicagoland for sure. Seeing your beautiful flowers makes me miss having them. Hubby and I have talked much about our lack of landscaping and gardens here - next year for sure. Enjoy your time away and fingers crossed that all is still well with your gardens there, despite the heat.
Hi Jane, Have fun at the Lake House, I'm sure your flowers will be standing pretty upon your arrival to greet you! We are in mist of a heat wave here in the Berkshires and have had very little rain. I hope you enjoy your time away! Hugz, Kim
I just caught up with your all your adventures at the lake. So much fun, good food, incredible scenery, gorgeous huge homes only Kitty Litter could buy. I hope your plants survived and got unexpected gift from the skies. We reached triple digits today! I am glad you have your gorgeous lake to retreat too! Enjoy and have fun.~♥
Oh yes, we're in the middle of one here in So. California too. You're flowers definitely look better than mine :-) Have a wonderful time at the lake. Blessings, Marcia

Hi Jane! Your flowers on the porch are gorgeous! I hope you enjoy your time at the lake. I'm in Howell...babysitting for the weekend while my daughter and her hubby take a weekend away. Instead of the lake, I have a kiddie pool to stay cool in. Have a great time!!!! Debbie@houseatthelake
Hey Miss Janie, Have a lovely time at the lake! It's hot here too, we got back from Colorado late last night. Had a wonderful time! We need to plan our get together soon! Hugs, Cindy
Yes, I think most of us are in the same boat, but I wish it was a REAL boat and we were all off together on a Blogger's Cruise somewhere in the tropics with nice breezes and cabana boys bringing us cocktails. Yeah, I could go for that this week. Heatwave combined with the AC on the fritz for three days did not make me a happy camper this week.
Yesterday evening though we went down to the river park and after a long hot day, cool breezes were coming in and it felt great. I think the whole town was there for the same reason.
Hope you've been relaxing and enjoying yourself. The temps are just merciless here so I'm inside most of the time. Have my fingers crossed for all your plants too.
Oh, that little heart wreath is sooo cute! Sorry it has been so hot for you....I totally understand.

[Image]Just a little post before we head off to the lake. Hope you have all had a good week. We are still in the middle of a heatwave here in the Midwest, but from my visits to all of you, it sounds like we are all in the same boat. ;-D [Image]I gave my plants a big, cold drink and I am saying a prayer that my flowers at the lake have survived the heat and maybe even got a little overhead sprinkle from the sky!
Have a Happy Weekend and I will see you next week! :-)
