Built in 1865, the school was located on the west side of  Timber Ave, 1/2 mile north of 200th St.  It was replaced by a brick building, and the wooden structure was moved to Protivin where it was used for storage.  It was then moved to the Borlaug Farm on 200th St, 1/2 mile west of Timber Ave, for preservation.  
The brick building was converted to a home.
