Wow! Thank you so much for this, this was one of my favourite books as a kid, and I've always hoped to find a preloved copy in a discount bin somewhere, but no luck yet.

Too good ! This was the book my dad bought me when I was little boy :) .. I wanted to gift him the same back on his 75th birthday... but could not find any print version on sale anywhere.

Thanks for sharing this ... its priceless for me.

Hi , I cant express my overwhemed feelings to you dear blog writer.This book and some more books of the soviet union especially Vanya stories were my favourites.thanks for the upload of When Daddy ........I read tons of russian books at that time but hve none with me now.Thanks from the depths of my heart.

Thank you for sharing this book . My mother used to buy these soviet books at book fairs in Bangalore. Brings back so many childhood memories. Do you have a book called "Happy Days" by L Voronkova. I have been looking or it for years now.
