Every once in awhile, my heart would feel like it was dancing in my chest. I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but I ignored it. After all, it was so intermittent, how could I get a doctor to diagnose it? This past week, I was talking to my mother and she mentioned that my dad's father, all of my father's siblings, and at least two of my cousins have Atrial Fibrillation. One of my cousins was even hospitalized because they had to shock his heart back into rhythm. I have an appointment on Wednesday with my doctor to get tested.
