I got on the bike Saturday for 45 minutes. I took it easy, I had the trainer set at it's lowest resistance level and I cranked out 5.5 miles. Yesterday, I cranked out another 14 miles over the course of an hour. Everything seems to be going fine. I haven't tried getting out of the saddle and really crankin' it yet, but I feel ready for the W & OD. My first outdoor ride post transplant back in 2000 was 7 weeks. The Docs said, "go forth and exercise, but take it easy..." I rode a loop, Headed out to Old Ox > Evergreen Mills > W & OD > back home, on my Aluminum Trek. It was 40 miles and took me 3 hours. The next day, I rode a similar, but shorter loop (26 miles/2 hours). It looks like I got 6 hours of exercise in that week.
