So, I guess your answer would be...
1) Retreat to Fortress America
2) Get busy making batteries
3) Let those Iraqi's (and the rest of the world)figure out their own problems.
That's been tried...it lead to WWII (well, we didn't make batteries - maybe that is the real cause of WWII).
If you have some other plan, I don't see it here. That is the problem I have with the "Stop the war" crowd. They don't have an answer to what do you do. I don't really care what you think about Bush, Pre-war intelligence, Oil, The Iraqi Government, Iran, or batteries. What I care about is what is the plan? Anti-war demonstrators are always quick to point out what they believe the problems are, I've never heard what the solution is. If one of you has one, I'd love to hear it.
I'm for winning the war. To me, that could include letting Iraq split into 3 autonomous countries. People said that couldn't be done in the former Yugoslavia, but 10 years down the road, it's working for the most part (yes, I know there are significant differences, but the theory holds). The point is, at least I have an idea that could make sense. I haven't heard one from the anti-war crowd. If they have one, it gets drowned out in the whining. I honestly believe they will never advance a plan because it is easier to criticize than defend a plan...

Lou,
As you are out looking at websites, you may want to see what the result was the last time the anti-wsr crowd got us to pull out of a region without a plan in place. This website will tell PART of the story, there are also millions of Vietnamese that would beg to differ with how "brilliant" the thinking was that lead to their deaths, rapes, and enslavement. Do we not care?
