Well I have been slacking in the blog department. so Ainsley is napping so I thought I would blog for a minute and catch everyone up on the going in the Klingler's life. Since the last blog about hanging out with Jewel, we have had my parents over for dinner on the next Sunday and played a great game of Yahtzee. It was fun to have the over which we need to do more of!! During the week it was pretty slow. We had story time at the library, Ainsley had her therapies. Which went really well! Her feeding therapist is amazing, and really works with her!! I love her! Ainsley ate a lot too even tried a few things!! I was so excited. They are also wanting to have us do the brush therapy every 2 hours with her while she is awake. Which is so hard to set an alarm for every 2 hours get a 2 year old to sit still so I can brush message her legs, arms and back. Then do her joints. We will see if this works. I have my doubts. She is not sensitive to touches anymore so she doesn't care. Well she hates her feet getting done though. But I just don't think she has the sensory problem with her body anymore. Yeah she hates her hands in stuff but that is OK, I don't mind washing them off. But food, well that is another story I know that is texture. I mean spitting out everything just because she doesn't like the texture is annoying at least she doesn't gag or throw up. She did do that for a while and sometimes she still will gag but no throwing up for like a year. Usually Jonathan or I will catch her in time before that but mostly she has figured out the whole spitting it out thing. So Meridith her therapist wants us to do the brush thing. Well I haven't been really good on doing it this weekend but I will do better this week. I have 3 weeks to see if there is any improvement from this to eating from this therapy. I have no clue how is suppose to help but I just do what they tell me. She also had her speech therapy which I don't like. Her therapist is awful and I have told Ainsley's coordinator when she is here and she doesn't do anything. So next time I will really have to point it out or have her coordinator come while the speech therapist is here. Basically I am buying my time till she gets puts into preschool. So that brings me to tomorrow, we start our 120 day evaluation for preschool. I am excited about because like most people here you have to pay like $150 a month for preschool but I wont YEAH!!!! Yeah for saving money!! only because she will be in therapies at Freedom Elementary. So tomorrow at 8:30 we have a meeting to let me know what kind of therapies they have like speech hopefully feeding too!! I doubt it but we will see. Basically that is all she needs. Tomorrow is alot of paperwork and stuff. Then later (in a couple of months) they will evaluate her and sees if she qualifies. Unless she has been playing us like a fool I think she will be put into the program. So we will see. I guess this is what I get for having a preemie. At least physically she is great!! And she is really really smart!! She knows lots and lots of signs, animals, ABC', teaching her numbers, and colors. She gets puzzles and everything so she is not special by any means!! I just want to put that out there in case that is what you are thinking. If you are a preemie mom then you know where I am coming from and all that we go through from the time they are born. Living on life support to a toddler. It is amazing to see the progress and never take any milestone for granted. Then on Friday last week we had a service request done to our upstairs. There were some squeaky floor boards we wanted to be taken care of. Well they have been taken care of for sure! They even nailed through a water pipe that goes to our half bath downstairs, under the stair case. So I had a friend over for lunch and she had to use the restroom went in and discovered the water. So we call the warranty guy and told them what happened they sent a plumber out right away. They fixed it! But to do the fixing they had to go through some drywall. So today they are coming out to replace all the drywall on that wall because of the water damage. YEAH! for warranties! We didn't have to pay for any of this, thank goodness. It is a pain but it's not like I have to take off work or anything to be here for it. So no biggy. Just a pain for all or company we had over all weekend. We had Susan and Richard over for pizza on Friday night, I made 2 pizzas and we needed help eating them. Then Saturday was the stockyard thing then dinner with Angie and family. Then when they left we had Will and Jamie over for some Halo/girl time. Then after Jamie and I already finished the movie Jonathan and Jen come over for some Halo action. So Jamie, Jen and I just chatted it up for a while. Once the girls left the boys stayed here and played Halo till way late. I went to bed so I have no clue how long but I am sure they had alot of fun! This week we are doing a couple event so no HALO just dinner games or a movie but not just Halo. I love Jamie, I love having girl time with her its so much fun. Also please pray for my sister Helene she is going through a tough time right now, and I know some of you that read this know her or are really good family friends of the Moorman's (my side of the family, yes that was my last name and no it's not a joke) so please pray for her! Thank you!! We will keep you updated, she is going to see a specialist tomorrow so I will update again.
