That's fabulous - nothing like a big honking poo to ruin a good christening :)
I remember my daughter crying - she wasn't too enamored with being held in that position with some water poured over her head (on one of the hottest days of the year where we were all sweating and wishing for some water to be poured over us).

Since you haven't posted since I was last here (no pressure), I just thought I'd take this opportunity to comment again on the same post.
I just wanted to wish you a very merry Christmas (and a happy new year as well). I know the baby's first Christmas will be a very special occasion (for you, not for her). I hope you get a picture with Santa cuz those are always good for a laugh 20 years later. I look forward to seeing that and many other pics.
Have a good one, and may everyone get all the presents they wanted :)

Today the baptism of Mariska took place. We were a little worried because we were wondering if Mariska was planning her big poo when she was wearing her nice white outfit. It had been a couple of days since the last big delivery. Well, she decided to wait till after she got home.
Enough about the poo. It was nice and relatively short ceremony. Our girl didn't cry and was mostly looking around trying to figure out what was going on. Afterwards we had a little party at our home with even more presents for Mariska.
Many pictures were taken so many will be added to the photo blog once I have been able to go through them all.
