I don't think that anybody has a clue about voting anywhere, never mind the Netherlands.
I think that at the voting area, all the candidates should be allowed to leave their propaganda laying around so that once you get there and have forgotten the name of the person you were going to vote for (because you read a one-paragraph ad about their stance) you should be able to read the stuff laying around just as a reminder.
And they're all full of sh** anyway, so I wonder why any of us vote.

As I mentioned earlier, there were federal elections in the Netherlands yesterday. I made a joke about the Party for the Animals. I guess I shouldn't since they won 2 seats (out of the 150) in the parliament so they got a decent number of votes.
To me it's interesting to see that the right wing party, which are called the 'liberals', won the 'international' elections while they were only 4th overall. It's also interesting to me that the party that won the most seats, didn't make a big splash outside the Netherlands. Personally I am not that surprised too be honest. I think that the 'average' Dutch person who lives abroad is more conservative and he\she can not keep up with what is happening on the political landscape in the Netherlands, something that I have experienced myself.
