We knew she liked her mobile. We knew that she had paid attention to how Catherine turned it on. We even knew that she had turned her mobile herself. However we thought she did this by just some luck. You know, flapping her arms around and hitting the button by accident.

This morning however, I walked into Mariska's room to pick her up. There she was. She wiggled herself closer to the mobile and was lying on her side. And one arm was stretched and pressing the buttons. No, not some random flapping. She was clearly aiming at those buttons.

Unfortunately for her, she doesn't know that there is also a switch on top of the mobile which totally turns everything off so that pressing the buttons has no effect. Something we need to do as a result of her earlier succesful attempts to turn the mobile on.
