Spending on social safety nets for the poor is small compared to what we spend it on for the military and the elderly. So sure, complain about what we borrow, but don't spread the myth that the "lazy" poor are the ones driving up the deficit.
...though I imagine you know EXACTLY what she was saying and simply do not care.
