You know, add a rollbar and a hopped-up turbocharged engine and they might actually have something sporty and drivable (and survivable).

Therefore I expect this new car to have an even smaller engine, and a design that will flatten the heads of anybody inside in the event of a rollover.

Smarts are all over Europe for more than ten years and are built by Mercedes. They have some one the safest records.
