i spoke too soon! now i'm getting that error in both firefox and IE. so you might not see many (or any) new blog entries until the error is fixed.
in a way, i'm almost glad. not glad there's an error, but glad it won't work in IE either. because i hate IE and resent having to open it for any reason (other than image bending).
of course, i have no idea if this comment will post either. i suspect it won't, but you never know until you try...
when i first tried to publish my brokeback mountain post, i got a strange new error: 001 java.io.IOException: No space left on device
i was a little concerned. i'm supposed to have two or three gigabytes of storage space: was it really full? i imagined it was possible, but if true, it meant i wouldn't be able to post again until i deleted some old content. and i couldn't do that until i got home, because SFTP access is blocked on the network.
after some investigation, i determined that it was a blogger error. furthermore, after a trip to bloggerforum i discovered that it seemed to be a browser-dependent problem. firefox was giving this error but IE was not. and sure enough, when i opened IE and published from there, my post went up with no trouble.
so watch out blogger users. most blogger errors are resolved in a matter of hours, but if you get a strange "no space left" error, try a different browser.ΒΆ
