I think I'm going to get a copy of that book eventually and read it. I have clients I work with on a daily basis that believe me, some of them SHOULDN'T be trusted LOL..(Can you believe THAT statement from a real estate agent..?)... and honestly, in the course of my work, sometimes untrustworthy people can Really bring you down, at least mentally speaking...

The only thing I read about in a comment from Wikipedia about this book is that L.Ron basically supported "mass exinction" by saying he agreed with the actions of a President a while ago from Venezuela.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_of_Survival
Now Grahame, I am not taking sides, if you'd like, I would just like to hear your opinion... I do have to say that I find that the government's previous "fears" and percieved prejudices about L. Ron Hubbard were slightly laughable...

Thanks
Jim

The Wikipedia article is inaccurate. In one paragraph of a 500+ page book L. Ron Hubbard mentions that some South American dictator ended leprosy in his country by killing off beggars. It was a "passing comment", he doesn't condone what the guy did and if you read the other 99.99% of the book you will understand that Ron's viewpoint is that no matter how bad a person is, he or she can be helped to improve.

Science of Survival is about predicting human behavior, but from the viewpoint of predicting it so you can help the person. As a sort of side benefit the data in the book also gives you vital information on how to survive better yourself by being able to predict the behavior of others.
