I agree with you totally Grahame. And what I find on the internet, is, in many cases, not people who oppose Scientology - but people who know NOTHING about it pretending that they do and making a noise anyway. Rather like when one sheep bleats, it doesn't take long to set the whole flock off.

In the Dianetics book, L.Ron Hubbard presents his discovery of the basic impulse of all life - SURVIVAL. This is what the subjects of Dianetics and Scientology deal with. Survival.

So, you would imagine that if a person opposed survival, he would not only have to be pretty antisocial person, but, to put it in technical terms, a complete nutcase, wouldn't he?

I'm afraid I didn't go to the link you gave in your blog, but David Touretzky sounds like just this kind of person.

And one other thing, with all the talk of Freedom these days, it seems that more and more restrictions are being placed upon us.

What is needed, as L.Ron Hubbard points out to us, is more TOLERANCE.

So, don't just bleat along with the other sheep, open your eyes and look. There are Scientology books in most libraries these days, borrow one, read it and judge for yourself. And please don't bother with the "anti-Scientology" sites. That would be rather like talking to a Klu Klux Klan member to find out about black people, or trying to find out about capitalism from a communist.

"Look. See what you see, not what someone tells you that you see." L.Ron Hubbard

"What you observe is what you observe. Look at things and life and others directly, not through any cloud of prejudice, curtain of fear or the interpretation of another." L.Ron Hubbard

"Instead of arguing with others, get them to look." L.Ron Hubbard

Yours sincerely,

John Davis

Wow, Grahame... this story sounds unbelievable!

I mean I do believe it, because I've seen these things in the Internet and I've learned to "understand" the crooked ways these people operations are based on.

But is still, let's say "hard to conceive" that a human being, a spiritual being, could fall to such deeps of degradation. And for what? money? "fame"? I don't think so! Just for the "pure" pleasure of degrading others as well and perhaps not feeling so lonely deep down there... What a waste!

Hey Milla,

I know what you mean. When you are a person who cares about others and cares about Human Rights, you find it difficult to understand how someone could be just out for a laugh or out to actually harm another at the expense of such rights. On the Internet this sort of person is known as a "troll". It's an important term to understand because over the years many people have fallen for trolls. This sort of behavior is typical of members of the malevolent Internet group "Anonymous". Here are a couple of articles on them that shows the sort of people they are: Anonymous - Some History and Anonymous Attacks Epileptics.

Hey Eugene,

You are right. I've emailed someone at The Scientology Parishioners League, they run that site. I'm sure it will be back up soon.

Thanks for your reply and the troll datum, Grahame. I've read those articles you quote and, well, what can I tell you... don't these people have a life of their own? Yeah, I guess no. At least not something that can be called life.
