Hi Grahame! Love your blog, as always.

I think a lot of people, especially some who are curious about Scientology but are still sort-of sitting on the fence about it, should know that the ways one can contribute to these noble goals are as varied as the imagination can make it.

Scientology principles apply in virtually any and every aspect of existence one can think of, so there's unlimited ways for Scientologists to express themselves while still working for the greater good.

Scientologists can also contribute indirectly to these important causes like human rights and ending drug addiction. I hope anyone reading this blog understands that if their "thing" is biology, astronomy, painting, sculpture, writing, archaeology, carpentry, or horticulture, they can still direct their skills and interests towards the greater good on all the Dynamics even without getting directly hands-on involved in anti-drug programs.

(One example would be a Scientologist indie filmmaker I know who makes certain that some sort of anti-drug message appears in every project he does.)

Hey Crystal,

I'm glad you like my blog. I just took a look at your new blog and it is cool!

I hope my post didn't give the impression that the programs the Church supports are somehow mandatory for Scientologists to contribute to or be part of, because that is not the case.

These are volunteer activities and you can only encourage people to volunteer. Many Scientologists do get involved in these activities because (from my observation) people who have been Scientologists for more than a few years tend to develop a social conscience and a desire to help their fellow man.
