according to that Times article about the Pirate Booty cafes, this is how they like to decorate:

"the cafe is washed in vibrant shades of mango and pomegranate and furnished with vintage Grateful Dead posters and about 10 mismatched tables"

i take this as very good news. if we have to lose the holiday, better this guy than some a-hole. i know that place in seacliff - extremely laid back, good vibe.
here's hoping for the best!
Hey Robert Ehrlich, please don't change it too much! (Don't mess with perfection : )

It was a large loss for the East Village to lose Holiday, but we can only hope for the best and that Mr. Ehrlich keeps this location as tasteful as his snacks.

I know one thing that would improve the bar, at least for the bartenders. Make an opening in the bar so they can just lift a section instead of having to crawl under every time they have to get out from behind the bar. I asked Stefan why he didn't have this and he just looked at me like I was crazy.

Does this mean free bar snacks? I'm kinda hoping the decorate like the interior of a pirate ship. At this point, why not have a Pirates of the Caribbean themed bar, complete with water slide and canons. Maybe Keith Richards will guest bar tend.
