They come and go here as well. Spring Street Natural, the cultural-culinary cornerstone of this nabe, was just recently forced to move.

Nice to see you so plugged in, Tiny, but the juice bar craze helped to kill the LES nabe as well. Keep it to tats or skateboard shops and we'll all be happier.

I remember those upstate punks. Two rival vegan/straight edge gangs terrorized a small town after one of their leaders was thrown out of a health food store.
