Ah man, this sucks. I live on D and ordered Wacky Wok fairly regularly. Their food was fresh and inexpensive. Always wondered if they'd be able to make it on the block.

Walk-by traffic can be an issue. However, I'd often get carpet-bombed with menus yet was outside the delivery zone on Seamless. Some lack of business savvy here.

This is terrible news. We LOVE Wacky Wok. I was always a little worried about its location. Wish there was somewhere on Avenue A that made sense for them.

I will also miss walking into other restaurants and seeing their menu jammed in the door.

Anyone know who owns the building and what will happen to the space.

Sorry for the loss, but maybe it had something to do with the wok being wacky. Maybe if the wok had been "hot" or "carbon steel" things might have been different.

Wacky Wok is set to become another bodega. Just what Avenue D needs.

This is terrible news. We ordered from them at least twice a week. I hope something else opens up that is as healthy, inexpensive and tasty. Sad.
