Virgin was usually a rip-off anyway. However, it was still a brick and mortar spot to buy music, and will be missed.

Same pricing shenanigans as when Tower bit the dust. Like we needed a reminder of why the music biz was going down the toilet anyway. $18.99 with an additional 25% off? Keep it, Virgin, and sell it at one of your other "going out of business" sales.

Virgin had been unloading some decent DVDs for $5 earlier this year. I went in a few months ago after a friend bought Midnight Cowboy for $5. Anyway, some of those former $5 DVDs appear to be $14.99 now — oh, plus 25% off...
