Or more specifically, the HP printer drivers: See http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/...?dg=microsoft.public.word.application.errors...  and http://help.wugnet.com/office/Word-2007-encountered-problem-closeftopic-1042867-days0-orderasc-8.html Word (and PowerPoint) does not like certain HP drivers, including one for the all-in-one scanner/printer that I just installed.  I'm not sure if this is worse than the fact that HP did not release Vista drivers for our HP Laser printer until 6 months after I installed Vista...
