If you're going to compare Firefox's JS performance, use a 3.1 preview -- it has the new TraceMonkey JS engine that is comparable to Chrome's JS engine.
I ran the test against Firefox 3.1b2, with the javascript.options.jit.content set to true: final result: 74.2. The only test in which Firefox was even close was RegExp (Firefox scored a 79.3)...
While checking her email on my computer yesterday, my wife asked me why I use “that Google POS browser” (Chrome). I think she was annoyed that it was unfamiliar to her, and that it’s just the latest example of me doing something geeky that gets a bit on her non-geeky nerves. Oh well – marital bliss... For the record (not that she would read this…), this is why I use Chrome: It is clean. No clutter. This actually matters. It is fast: Below are the results of the V8 Engine Benchmark scores. Sure the benchmark is written by Google, sure it only measures JS performance, and sure it doesn’t mean that Chrome is 20x faster than IE8. As is I’m stuck with all three. Sigh.

Ha, yeah, Chrome became my default browser too for the same reasons.
It is a bit ironic though that it does not play nice with several of Google's own sites, like Blogger.

So now the IE8 marketing team has come out with a muy patético browser comparison, in which they claim IE8 is far superior to Firefox 3.0 and Google Chrome 2.0.
