cLocations is a great resource for seeing the location of all sorts of landmarks on a Google Map. Here, for example, are the locations of petroleum refinery-related operations (not all are actual refineries) that were in the path of hurricane Rita. The only beef I have with cLocations is that its simple dropdown navigation doesn't work in Firefox... Via Google Maps Mania
