More naysaying about TiVo... Gizmodo : TiVoToGo Sucks; TiVo Dead I DO wish TiVo desktop had half the functionality of SnapStream's BeyondTV. SnapStream is a company founded by an old classmate of mine, Rakesh Agrawal. TiVo's major advantage over the "free*" cable DVRs is the user experience, which means the software (and ok - the remote). If tiny SnapStream can beat them on that front, TiVo really is in trouble.... "Free", you know, as in $9.95 per month...
