Interesting report on NPR's Morning Edition this morning: Oil Price Jump Not All Good for OPEC Once again, the effect of inflation is not directly mentioned, but at least someone points out the weak dollar and that "a $28 barrel no longer buys what it used to", and encouragingly, US gas consumption is down from the same month last year.
