I think you'll miss out on a 30-exchange, but I don't think you have to worry about them releasing a new model on the 31st day either. The current generation of the iMac is only 7 months old. I'd give them AT LEAST a year between upgrades.

Of course, now that I've bought one, they'll upgrade them. As long as they do within 30 days, I'm golden... that's Amazon's window of exchange.
