great post! You've made both of us want to go. Erin's cousin lives in Anchorage and we've been trying to get up there for a few years, but unfortunately airfare costs about as much as flying to Europe, and that's probably a priority. Great to see it by proxy, though.
Lydia and I just got back from a nine-day odyssey to the frozen north. It was about the most trouble-free trip I've ever been on, largely due to great planning by both of us, and due to the fact that the majority of it was on a cruise ship!
