this is a joke right
simpatico is the worste run organization ive ever met 1/2 the time something isnt working propely, the help section is totaly usless, there costomer support is a joke.i asked them 1 simple question
"how do i configure the modem to play on line gameing" irecieved 17 exactly the same emails lnking me to a page on there site that only said yes we support it. not how. i looked for 4 hours on there site for the andwer.ihad the account for 2 months, i opted for the wait 6 months to see if i still want them,2 months later i returned my moden got the invioce phoned them gave them the # from the invioce
the next month i was moving i phoned bell to have my # moved there ,they told me my account was still opened, once again i asked to have it closed,i was told they did. yesterday i found out they have been taking $ out of my account for the last 4 months, because i never returned the modem or told them to close my account, and it will take another month to close it off so i will be billed again.
that is awfull service,,not only that but there systems allways breaking down.

No Joke. Just my own, honest experience with them. Of course, your mileage may vary.

I've played online games and have never had a problem nor needed to do any configuring to the modem. Since I wrote this endorsement a year and a half ago, I've had only one instance where I needed to call tech support. The fella I got on the line was friendly, patient and helped me to identify the problem (which had nothing to do with their service but was a fried router on my end).

I'm interacting online even more than I was in 2004, and I can tell you that I'm still happy as can be with my Sympatico service.

Sorry to hear your experience wasn't on par with my own. Hope your new ISP serves you well.

i would like to appoligise i was upset when i wrote that. though my views havnt changed.it was rude of my to be so harsh.
ive been going through forums
and talking to alot of people and it seems my experiences are more to the norm then yours.after being online since 97, and having 4 different nternet providers
bell was by far the worste one, they didnt actually sent me a modem,it was more like a router.the people i talked to on the phone were very friendly, but uneducated on there system. the provider i have now is execulink
never any problem the best so far
i email them a question, and someone actually replys, with the correct answers the same day, after all the to big companys that have no control over there internal comunications its a breath of fresh air to have the provider i do now.
