That cat was on Regis and Kelly this morning and it was determined by the Vet that he is a male cat. They are waiting for the results of the blood test to see if it has a thyroid problem before allowing it to be adopted.
Pet hell, he could saddle HIM(thanks Karen) up and use HIM to save money on gas. I don't think the owner of that cat lost it. There is probably an owner in some sort of distress out there?

"She's built like a quarterback," said Deborah Wright, a shelter volunteer and current foster owner of the kitty. "I mean, how do you lose a 44-pound cat?!"
