"Honus Wagner was a Pittsburgh Pirate ohhh" Pearl Jam Yellow Ledbetter... Who knows what the real lyrics are..but I made that line up and it literally made Mt. Cat fall down in the floor laughing!
Hey Talisman... That is so famous that he actually sings that line in concert now. I thought it was a fluke the first time but the second time I saw him 2 years ago he said it again..... and he also sings it that way on the live album "Premonition"
"I'm a little man and I'm oh so evil, also into cats. Also into cats!" Fall Out Boy, Arms Dealer
for those who don't know it's supposed to be "I'm a leading man and the lies I weave are oh so intricate, oh so intricate." I like the cats version better.
Pretty much the entire song What's the Frequency Kenneth by REM. Mt. Cat and I spent an afternoon listening and arguing and laughing trying to get the lyrics right on this one... (thats before the internet and the ability to look it up) We had some wacky misheard lyrics to that one!!
"Richard said withdrawal in disgust is not the same as apathy"... is the correct line you don't even want to know what I thought Mike Stipe said. LOL
in one of her songs Chaka Khan would repeat her name to a dance beat.

This isn't that funny. But when my daughter, now 12, was 4, I listened to AC/DC all the time. One of my fav's was Dirty Deeds. She ALWAYS sang,
"Dirty Deeds, Not No Cheese!"
Not matter WHAT I told her, she would sing it like that!
