I wish Jr. hadn't been injured so often and I wish he had been easier to like when he was younger. But, there's no doubt that he one of the best all-around players of any era in MLB.

If he had played in NY or Boston he would be bigger than Manny or Jeter or A-Rod. I commend him for not selling out and going to either of those places and making the big publicity grab.

I heard that this morning on TV, the newscaster doing the story mentioned he is somebody not associated with the steriod scandal. If he's one of the few that did it all "clean", he certainly can be proud of this accomplishment.
