You could have at least given her a chance. Who is going to pick her over Michael? There are similarities, he gets paid to act and so does she...

After last night I am concerned that Sarah Palin may put Air Force One on EBay.

Geeze that speech was the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. At times it looked liek she didn't even believe the stuff that they wrote for her to say.

I, for one, thought she was awesome and I have NEVER ever even watched a speech like that before. Maybe that's why I was so impressed? I had no one else to compare it it, but I LOVE the fact she put that plane on ebay. Sounds just like something I would do.

Mommy and Patrick are fine... mommy is on some prescription meds and hasn't had an outbreak since the terrible one on Tuesday plu swe got rid of the "egg crate" that was in our bed that may have dust mites in it.... Thats the best we have got. Doctor told her we may never know the exact culprit because she has many allergy triggers. But all is well for now.

I think I am in love with Sarah Palin. She is my dream woman. Sorry Tina.

I didn't think about Air Force One - I dont' think she could make the call on that one. I don't think she would get to use it very often if she did make VPOTUS since POTUS and VPOTUS can't travel together. Now Air Force Two that is a different story.

I do find it funny that she tried to compare herself with Harry S Truman. Very few people are like Truman yet they try to draw comparisons. I find this especially funny since they couldn't say a nice thing about any other Democrat.

Doc, Oh I didn't know Barack Obama spoke last night??

I thought Palin's speech was pretty freaking good.

To an extent all political speeches are a load of crap, but Palin's was no worse than Obama's or any other.

I'm with Doc. The speech appeals to the common man but it was such a load of crap. I would like to give the writers a handful of crap to congratulate them.

I LOVE MICHAEL PALIN! Every sperm is sacred. Every sperm is good. Every sperm is useful in your neighborhood.

For the record, I wasn't all that impressed with Obama's last speech either. I'm getting so sick of this shit.

There is a time and a place for sarcasm (like here for instance or in a Python skit) but when it seems to be the main current in an electoral speech it hints at lack of substance... but that's just me.

There are things taht bother me about her. The biggest is "Trooper Gate." I'm pretty sure that this is a national thing...if you get convicted of domestic abuse you are not allowed to carry a gun, hence, no longer be in law enforcement. If this Trooper was tasering his former or soon to be former family I think he would naturally lose his job, and didn't need her intervention to lose his job or fire his boss.

A couple months ago our local PD got in huge trouble for tasering a guy that died shortly afterwards...Tasers are NOT toys, but weapons of less than leathal force.

Forget trooper-gate Palin opposes sex education (which may have helped her daughter) and opposes allowing a woman to choose to terminate her pregnancy even if she was a victim of rape or incest. Do we want to go back to the 1950s ??

McCain is pro-life, why would it surprise anyone that Palin is also pro-life?

September 4, 2008 at 12:05 PM

Blogger Disaster Chick said...

They use the abortion issue to make those that are pro-life rally behind pro-life candidates. If I were to get pregnant and have an abortion - how would it affect any of you? How would it affect McCain and Palin?

I like what Obama said yesterday - they have been talking about McCain's POW experience but haven't said one word about how they are going to fix the economy and strengthen the middle class.

If we lose the middle class then we are in HUGE trouble.

why is no one talking about her possibly psychotic belief in, and speech to the Wasilla school graduating class where she told them to "pray to god for funding for the oil pipeline"... and went on to discuss how it was going to be needed to help fund Alaska's ministry to the heathens of the lower 48 when the rapture comes and they all run to Alaska to escape it...That kind of thought process gets most people put away in a nicely padded room...with no sharp corners.

Oh Fortune Cookies, don't point out the obvious crazy in her! We are supposed to sweep that under the rug and just appreciate the pretty. Who cares if the canidate is out of their freakin mind as long as she looks good?
