Ole Doc once stood behind the actual bar where Tom Cruise filmed cocktail and had his picture taken.... TRUE STORY and you can see the picture in the post.
(I paid the bartender $5 to let me get my picture taken there)
Mic... Thats awesome about the yacht. Are you talking about the one that Doug kiled himself in or the one they were sailing on in the tropics? Pretty sure they were two seperate crafts.
Doc and AbsolutGator went deep sea fishing off the coast of Charleston SC during Hurrican Bertha in 1996 and the only thing Doc caught was the scarriest 5 foot long barricuda you have ever seen. All Absolut caught was a case of the dramamine... LOL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Bertha_(1996)
Doc and the Mt. Cat were also involved in a dangerous high sea adventure in 2005 that we were very lucky to survive....but I will save that story to tell later.
That story is only interesting when you explain that I shot at it on the exit ramp to south bound I-81 in Virgina because it refused to let me back on the road!
I don't know about that but Doc and the Mt. Cat did once get their ID's checked by an FBI agent at Knight's Castle because they were yelling too loud at the Scranton Wed Bawwons and sitting in the seats owned by a church. Whoops!
Doc: the one that was on the dock, it was an Oceans 60 with 10 ft added on the transom. Owned by some Duke of somewhere. A good friend was the stewardess and the captain invited me for the casual and have some fun trip from Bequie to Antigua.
Mic... That is one awesome yacht! I need to break out my DVD and see it again! And yeah Vin and I have a lot of fun but we are an aquired taste... LOL!
Doc and the Mt. Cat were both under an umbrella of suspicion in a murder case back in 1989 - TRUE STORY that I will tell some day when I have a bunch of time to write. That may be a two or three parter.
grapefruit over a chocolate cake? I thought I was the only one in the world that doesn't care for sweets or desserts. wierd. Happy Friday You guys.... Cute pics.
My grandmother told me she was a direct descendant of William the Conqueror, so I guess that makes me one, too, huh? The only thing I can prove about her claim is that she was British.
Non-Drowsy Formula Dramamine my ass! I think I'd rather been sick like the First Mate. Even if I would have been throwing up beer as I drank it, I'd would have been drinking. Instead, I'm falling in and out of coma. However, I was up for the barracuda. Thing had teeth growin' up, down, and sideways. Glad no one was wearing anything shiny for it to swipe at!
Absolut is correct... we probably shouldn't have given him the dramamine but the conditions were bad - the fist mate of the boat got sick.... anyway he is also right about that damn barricuda I have never seen a more scary creature - it hissed at me when we brought it up... we let him go. Teeth all over the place!
