Well, I had to vote for Patriotic Music only because it's the closest to why this is really my favorite holiday - because it honors the greatest country in the world (no matter how much I bitch about its politicians!)

I love the patriotic music a lot too with the fireworks.... and this year Patrick is going to get to ride in his wagon in the kids bike parade then get hosed off by the firetruck hose they use for the kids... I love having a little kid !!

Not parades that's for sure. Because where there's a parade, there are clowns and Shriners. Cheers!!

It's a no pressure holiday. The focus of which would be getting together and eating summer cookout food which is my favorite. So, that's what I like.

Last year I celebrated by eating at my favorite Mexican food place and watching two minutes of fireworks on TV before getting bored and falling asleep. Hey, at least I don't have to work. Hoorah America!

It's the best, it's our country and we should all be proud that it has lasted this long, 232 years.

I love the fireworks. It's a great holiday because it's family/friend oriented around great food and patriotism. Can't get better then that.

Brats, Beer and Margaritas.

I also enjoy watching the kids do sack races, 3-legged races, water balloon toss, croquet, and bocce. Usually I join right in. This is the first year we won't be in WI with everyone. Could be interesting.

Taking a day off of work to eat unhealthy food, drink unhealthy amounts of beer, and light stuff on fire? Add in a pool or lake and the great weather this time of year, and how is that not the best holiday ever?

Let's see... I'm Canadian so... I like the 4th because I have some peace and quiet from the folks at the corporate office?

But, the 1st... well.. beer, bbq, fireworks, kiddos giggles, stores closed, no lawnmowers, a day of nothing much to do. :)
