Spitzer brought the "passion" back, alright...I guess he should've specified as to exactly what he meant by that!

If you know who I am talking about Bulldog Briscoe you have to take a look... On the performance show he was right there behind Randy and last night he was right there next to Jim carrey when he had that stupid elephant costume on. I swear it's him.

I was kind of "forced" into reading the Harry Potter series last summer too, and although I was EXTREMELY apprehensive, it was some of the best reading I've done in ages. I was happy to hear about them splitting book seven, but I think it has little to do with making sure they got everything from the book (Book 5 was my favorite and the movie SUCKED) and lots to do with more $$ now that the book series has ended.

I think Matthew McConaughey might be naming the baby "BUD" after his favorite plant.

I have ask you why you are so "lame" that you cannot attend a concert on Thursday night?? LOL.

My uncle did Habitat for Humanity down in New Orleans last year with his church. I am more of the writing a check kind of volunteerer. (aka Lazy) But I have seen the Amish framing a house and it does look like hard work.

Dana - Order of the Phoenix was most definetely a great book but the movie could not pick up on all of Harry's brooding, isolation, and the introspection that the book does. The movie does however very effectively protray the strong 3rd Reich theme with the Ministry. Half Blood prince ain't going to be any piece of cake either... I wonder how many people still don't know about that ending.

Karen - ROFL @ favorite plant... And it a Tuesday night... not a Saturday. I want Saturday because I am now getting old and I have a 9 month old who we could leave with someone easier on a Sat.

I think it sucks that Brit has to pay her dad $2500 to give her the $1500 dole out.
That would have been an excellent way to read the Potter series. I was a late comer and got to read three of them one right after the other but then had to wait for the rest. I have all books and movies. Maybe I'll read them again.

Doc the Matthew McConaughey baby name Bud is true. In fact it may a trend. Brad Pitt said he originally wanted to name his baby Amstel but Angelina prefered Shiloh.

Okay, who is this someone and what is a TRC??? I'm dying here. You HAVE to tell me!

So, after my 5th beer last night and watching Idol at the same time, I said to my husband, "Oh my God! That guy looks exactly like Jim Carey!" For some reason, I thought it was a contestant. Hubby looks at me just laughs. Hmmm

Yea, I read that about Mary Ann, seems she was drinking too, huh? 69 and still going strong.

Karen - I wish I could take him to the show... He loves music but good grief he needs to be at least 2 years old before going to a Buffett show... :p

Bina - I am certainly not going to type the name again of who it was... but I did invite them to comment on my blogging... TRT = Thursday Random Thoughts

And that Jim Carrey thing where he was on stage - you can tell that was not planned - they were pissed he was there because they were short for time.

The only worthwhile thing that Jim Carrey did as far as I am concerned is introduce me to the music of Harry Connick Jr. from the movie The Mask.

So I'm back bitches, and now I can blame my bad behavior on the medication.

It makes me do crazy things!

Jeff B--I had to give up cable AND manicures so I hear ya. Maybe Brit wouldn't be quite as screwed up if she had to actually live in the real world!

Harry Potter rocks! Although I haven't read all of the books yet, just the last 2. But I saw the first 5 movies! Yes, Doc, I know. I should be chastised.

Traveling in cars on highways is in itself a very dangerous daily activity that most of us really think very little of. Now, put two heavy hunks of metal and plastic traveling in opposite directions in excess of 60 MPH on a two lane road no more than 2 to 3 feet apart when they meet drivin by only your God knows who.... Two to three feet apart at your 60 MPH plus their 60 MPH is not even a breath of your life! And just think, that other person might be trying to post a comment on a handheld computer! Every moment I'm behind the wheel, I try to remember to be scared shitless!
Funny stuff Huh? HaHaHa

Jim Carrey never flipped my switch!

I'd love to Tuesday night it with Jimmy!

Always was a Mary Ann kind of guy!
