I think we should be able to vote for more than one choice fellas!
The only thing I ever liked that came out of Seinfeld was when Elaine would dance.
She (mixed with Mick Jagger) reminds me of my oldest daughter trying to dance. BAHAHAHA!

MTCAT there wasnt a scene that Ed Norton didnt steal... Remember he was working side by side with Jackie Gleason....and he usually made HIM look like a straight man...I think your bloggers are probably alittle young to appreciate the more primitive style of humor that seemed to be so natural and uncontrived...He was the protoyype of the funniest neighbor concept, and he should be celebrated....
Well I want to see if it is a close vote. I know Michael Richards' real life antics may have lost him some fans. But I am amazed at how many New Yorkers don't care for Seinfeld. I figured Ned Flanders will get a lot of votes too. And Pat I agree, Art Carney was brilliant.
I never got into Seinfeld either. Of course I worked nights throughout the 90s so I never got to see it. But, I've tried to watch it and even though it is funny I don't watch it all the time.
I voted for the Jeffersons. George Jefferson was a riot!
Ha, ha...that is so funny! I forgot about those people. Do you remember their names?
But we had a lot of crazies in the neighborhood. To name a few: 1. Shell Shocked Tony 2. Red Face 3. Stevie (who would moon everyone!) 4. The man that looked like his Afghan dog! 5. That busty woman from the building on Narrows Ave - Shirley or Sally? Pat, what was her name?
Christine, what about the Turkish family that slaughtered the lamb in their garage on Easter next to Aunt Ann's house?? Pat do you remember their names? That was sick!
Who voted for the Tonys? That would be me. Wanna make somethin' of it?

Happy Monday everyone! Thank you to everyone who voted in last weeks poll as we learned that overwhelmingly the readers of this blog prefer the Grammy's as their favorite awards show. (I still want to know who voted for the Tony's)
This weeks poll comes to us as a suggestion from my buddy the Mt. Cat. He wants to poll who you think is/was the funniest television neighbor? There are several choices up there to pick from and of course feel free to discuss your choice as well. I bet we missed a few in the poll so let us know.

Leighann--I'm with you. I can't stand to watch more than 5 mins of Seinfeld.

Hi y'all,
Well I want to see if it is a close vote. I know Michael Richards' real life antics may have lost him some fans. But I am amazed at how many New Yorkers don't care for Seinfeld. I figured Ned Flanders will get a lot of votes too. And Pat I agree, Art Carney was brilliant.

Art Carney's acting ability was superb not just his comedic genius. I still get bigger laughs from Cosmo.
March 3, 2008 at 10:38 AM
'First Norton, you have to address the ball.'
'Hellloooo ball.'
March 3, 2008 at 10:40 AM
I thought Art Carney was great in the movie Fight Club. He was brilliant in Primal Fear too.

March 3, 2008 at 11:34 AM
The Rubles were a couple of whiners, no? They annoyed me.
March 3, 2008 at 11:35 AM
Sorry - I tried to import a photo of myself but I don't think this one is the right format. I'm much bigger in real life!
March 3, 2008 at 11:36 AM
Holy Crap how about Frank and Marie Barone?
March 3, 2008 at 11:37 AM
Yeah the Rubles brought down the house values in Bedrock.
March 3, 2008 at 11:37 AM

March 3, 2008 at 11:40 AM

March 3, 2008 at 12:02 PM
wasn't there a neighbor guy that used to peak his head over the fence in the back yard?
shoot, what was that show?
March 3, 2008 at 3:05 PM
Jahoooooni, Yes Wilson from Home Improvement! Thanks. He was another great neighbor.
March 3, 2008 at 3:12 PM
From that list, I'd definitely pick Ed Norton. But I'm also kinda partial to Lenny & Squiggy from Laverne & Shirley. Or better yet, THE FONZ!!!!!!!
March 3, 2008 at 4:48 PM
Bunkie, How've you been?
The Fonz didn't live next door to the Cunningham's did he? Wait he lived above the garage?? I don't quite remember.
March 3, 2008 at 5:02 PM
Hi Mt. Cat. It's cold here in CT, and I'm just waiting for Spring to get here so my cold will go away. How's the city?
Fonzie lived over the garage or in an attic room, I think. But he'd make an awesome neighbor.
March 3, 2008 at 6:08 PM
Bunkie, The city was great today. Almost 60 degrees!
