Doc, I read an article in the newspaper this week about Rock Band and Guitar Hero which I want to scan and send to you. Musicians are crediting the video games for introducing classic rock to a new generation of kids who would otherwise not be exposed to that genre of music. It is actually good for the music industry. LOL
I immediately thought of you.

Karen... Sure it's good for those musicians now.... But lest see in 15 years when kids are not able to play musical instruments like the guitar because they are playing a video game instead of a real guitar.

So... IF.. I jumped on a train in NH to NY on the morning of the 7th, got tickets to the game and was able to catch a train back the same night so I wouldn't miss the big 08 party, ahhhh........?
Have fun on vaca Doc!!! I'll be flying over you to Plymouth, MA for my family reunion that weekend, I'll wave to you from the plane. Papa G, on the other hand, will be at Shea for the game so if you see an older Black man with a Mets T shirt and Mets shorts and a Giants hat on give him a hug from me - OK?

Not only will the useless kids not be able to play real instruments but they will have bad taste in music because they will only know the horrid rock band versions of otherwise awesome classic rock songs.
Micky-t if anybody was to make the game meet up happen, it would be you, or Dice, she is good like that. Meet up, have a beer and some cheer. You know, you will be tired for the 8th however. Doesn't that day of all days deserve your full participation? Oh yah there is such a thing as second wind. Ok Ok I'll shut up...

Meeting on the 7th at noon for baseball game at Shea stadium...
BTW - I will shower at least once daily and swim in my in laws pool!
(but you can damn sure bet I will NOT be playing Buffett on Rock Band - that is a safe a bet as you can have!)
