Jay--I think Adam's mouth lacks a filter when he gets nervous. I'm not sure he knew where he was going either. I feel sorry for Julianne for having to deal with him.
Lu--I missed Steve too, and Marlee. That was during the putting-the-kids-to-bed fiasco. I'll have to go online to catch up.
Doc--I think Steve has aged fairly gracefully. At least he's not all fake tan and wild hair like Pacino. Priscilla...not so much.
Dirkstar--I'll give you that Shannon can be a little stiff at times but I think she is starting to come into her own.
Doc, at the end of their dance in front of the judges he asked them if he could say something first before they spoke. He said, maybe not word for word but you'll get the gist. The "g" word he did say. I don't know who dressed this girl but the Monks hairdo and friars outfit do nothing for the sexapeal or something. What do they have gays up there as stylist? At least one any way. She had on a short brown wig and a long brown and black tango dress. It surely wasn't her best look.
Well, I guess I was wrong with my prediction. I'm a little disgusted with America that they would keep a butt-head like Carolla and send home a nice guy like "the Gutt".
I can't even look at Priscilla, her face is pulled so tightly and it seems to come undone when she smiles. I actually loved the Roxanne tango that Mario did but you know Karina's kicking his ass this week so he doesn't get low scores on Monday. Jason and Edyta were as great but the pace was a little weak. Shannon and Derek are fun to watch and make a really hot looking couple. I liked that Marissa and Tony danced to Girlfriend but the choreography could've been more interesting. Marlee was great but I don't remember anything memorable happening. Christian was on fire this week! Kristi - yawn. Adam actually wasn't bad but I would have rather seen him go than the adorable Gute!

[Image] I have to say, there was not really anything in last night's dancing to get me excited. This is extremely disappointing because the Jive is one of my favorite dances. I love the fast pace, kicks and flicks and sassy outfits. Plus, it is the only truly American dance that they do on the show. All of the other dances have European or Latin origins. My favorite of the night, which was not the judges favorite, was Shannon Elizabeth's jive. She and Derek have a great chemistry and you could tell that the choreography was really hard. It was one of the funniest moments of the night when they had to sit on the floor to get the judges comments because they were so tired! Shannon is very sweet and lovable, I hope she goes a long way. The judges and I really disagreed last night. They gave the highest marks to Priscilla and Kristi. Now, you know I am a big fan of Kristi and will probably choose her to win but I didn't feel her [Image]routine had anything special. It felt emotionless. In fact, many of the dancers had that problem. That's probably why I wasn't excited about any of them. I was really disappointed in Marissa's jive and Jason's as well. They all seemed a little too careful, which comes across as boring. I think the schedule of learning the dances, along with the Stars other committments is starting to take its toll. This is when the weak get separated from the herd. My pick for elimination tonight is Adam Carolla. Even though he didn't get the absolute lowest score, I think his mouth is going to keep him from going on. It seems like he just doesn't know when to shut-up! He even offended his partner last night. Start making your predictions for the finale. I will have a contest board up soon. In the meantime...

I though you would enjoy that. Jason was ok, just didn't do anything great like the past 2 weeks. His score was a 23 also.

Shannon is so stilted and wooden. She lacks grace and style. She is not smooth and always looks clumsy and jerky...
The show has run it's course and needs to die.
More wrestling is what we need.

Lu--my husband thought Julianne's look was hot! He loved the wig. It was more red than brown. Course, he kind of likes sassy red-heads. :)
