Wow! I have never heard of doing anything like that but I love it! It gives you a goal, something to look forward to, instead of just "walking", ya know?
I don't have a resolution, but beginning in December I did stop drinking beer and coke. Okay, so I have one or two cokes a week, but it's better than one or two a day, right? And I haven't had beer in over four weeks!!! That's gotta help, right?
Yes, I started trying to eat better in November, I have lost 20lbs, but didn't lose much over the holidays, so I'm refocused now and back on track.
Also just started on the Wii Fit and love it! So that helps, too... :)

Great job Doc and hope you make your deadline! I go to the gym Monday thru Friday at 5:30 A.M. and my goal is to have a slight six pack....not of beer or coke of course. I have no time limit on this because it takes a lot of work to accomplish this....especially after the age 30.
Congrats on your success so far. I'm sure you'll easily meet your goal.
I'm just trying to get to the gym on a semi-regular schedule. I've been running for just over a year now, and can't seem to go consistently enough to improve from where I'm at.

[Image] Still on the road for my brother in laws wedding but I wanted to give a walk to 100 miles update. As expected the holidays slowed me down a bit but I am full speed ahead in January. So far on my quest for better health I have walked 26.675 miles out of my 100 I pledged to walk by April 15th. That gives me 73.325 more to go. With 14 more weeks to go I will need an average of just over 5 miles per week. Easily doable for me. Wish me luck and better health in 2010. Is anyone else doing anything or changing up their lifestyle to try and live better in 2010?

I walk 4 miles a day four times a week, and I have a 46 day no carb thing coming up in a month or so. If only I could give up the smokes. Cheers Doc!!

Eh. The gym 4 times a week. Oh how I hate the gym. I want to cry when I think about it.
