Hello there,

I found your blog in a Google image search for fission tracks, namely your post here: http://urth-picturepost.blogspot.com/2013/04/more-geology-photos-from-my-travels.html Sorry for asking this here, but I couldn't find any other contact information on your blog.

I'm a professional paleontological illustrator who is currently working as lead illustrator on a book related to the evolution vs. creationism "controversy". The book is a pro-evolution text whose purpose is dismantling a number of creationist arguments. One of its central chapters is about radiometric dating, and dismantling the creationist arguments related to the age of the earth. Fission tracks are an important part of this chapter, and we would like to know if you'd be willing to let us use your photograph of fission tracks in the above blog entry, specifically this one here. We are willing to pay a licensing fee for the image if you grant us permission. Let me know if this is doable and please feel free to email me for more information at e.deinonychus(at)gmail.com. Thanks!
